This acceptable use policy governs all of Deltik's services. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your service. In the event of a dispute between you and Deltik regarding the interpretation of this AUP, Deltik's reasonable judgement shall prevail. Upper-Level Acceptable Use Policies Deltik's services run under various hosts. See the Deltik Terms of Service for information about upper-level compliance.
General We tend to be laxer on rules than other user registration sites, but we have some suggestions and emphases in addition to the applicable upper-level acceptable use rules:
Be respectful of other users. Refrain from being rude and putting down other members.
Illegal content, either linked to or put on Deltik, is strictly prohibited, will be removed and may result in banning you.
Refrain from cursing and swearing. The main website utilizes a censoring system in attempt to reduce potential offense.
Spamming belongs in designated spam locations such as "The Junkyard" of Deltik Community Forums or certain location(s) in Deltik Area 51. Please do not waste your time spamming elsewhere. :)
Project Operators/Managers
Take charge of the projects that you run! Commit to it; don't slack off. Here at Deltik, we're looking for quality. After all, you want good products and services, right?
Moderators
Only moderate items if they break (a) rule(s). Don't moderate spam in designated spam areas—that's where spam is allowed.
Be active and responsible! What am I paying you for? ... Oh wait, I'm not. But still, you hold a privileged role! You're important here.
Administrators
As an administrator, your role is one of the most important of all of Deltik. You should be responsible and active for your job.
Use your best judgement and common sense for handling any type of situation, such as a node going down or a member causing destruction.

"If you don't want it done to you, don't do it to someone else. It's called common sense."
"You should not boast to other users."
"Do not torture other users for fun."
"Do not mess with other staff members, like canceling their admin status, unless they have commited offenses."
"Do not ban or torture a user for fun (e.g. Changing Display Name/Username, giving 1 minute bans, sending spam private messages, changing profile, etc.)"
"Deltik recommends Mozilla or Mozilla Firefox. Deltik performs best with Firefox."
